I got caried away befor I took the picture. there was a ugly steel railing as well.

new steps tung and grove porch and seater railing to go with the seater shakes instaled below the porch and above. I also releveled the walk and repaired the concreat steps.

with a large inside and out side step it was very difficult geting in and out. I built steps and a opening window seat for storage. The step and seat where painted later to match the trim in the apartment.

Installed plywood and shingles. Tung and grove pot lights and a fan to keep you cool on warm summer night.

I re leveled the steps and built a hand rail to match the egsisting. The customer later painted it to match.

It is not always nessasery to replace. Just relaying the stones has made a great difference.

I moved the washer and dryer closer to the furnace and installed a new window anda new wall with a pocket door to creat a new room where the laundry room was.

Not all customers need the jobs finished. I removed a old counter top that was preventing the kitchen tap from being turned on fully and Installed 2 windows found at Habitat for Humanity. the back room was not heated. The customer finished the painting her self.

Fire place before.
Brick fire place that was pinted with wood mantel.

I installed the floor tiles after the hardwood and 6 months later I installed the tiles around the opening. The customer gave me a picture of a fire place she liked and I created the suround to look like the picture.
wall unit
This is a Ikea wall unit. I cut 4 inches of each end and raised them 3 inches. to acomidate the t.v aready mounted on the wall. The customer was quoted $6000.00 to make a custome unit. I purchased cut and installed the unit for less than half. Some times you can purchas complet units for less than the materials to build one.
After shed
This is the new shed. It is in the back of a town house. All materials had to be carried through the house. The door is in the middle and designed to blend in to the wall. The Wall matches details on the house.

Shed to be removed in back of town house. There is no floor and the right side wall is damaged.
